I lead the design strategy for Global Search, a critical discovery tool with 1.5M daily searches, ensuring users can efficiently find the data they need. Collaborating closely with engineers and PMs, I guide product decisions through user research, data insights, and clear objectives. I uphold high design standards and have a proven track record of solving complex design challenges and delivering impactful solutions at scale. Here are a few key highlights of my impact:

▪ Revamped Global Search’s design and developed a scalable grid system for clearer data display, paving the way for the team’s transition to a Search-as-a-Platform model. This fostered cross-functional collaboration, enhanced property displays across objects, and contributed to a 24% increase in Weekly Active Users (WAUs) within a year, while reducing back-to-back searches by 7.4%.

▪ Led end-to-end 0-to-1 development of the Minified Search Experience, improving the median time to result click from 6 seconds to 5.5 seconds, an 8.3% performance boost.

▪ Led the design of the AI Summary feature, from ideation and strategy to user research and prompt engineering.  As a result, ~10% of Global Search users now actively engage with the feature.

Chowbus is a food delivery startup that connects diners with mom-and-pop restaurants offering authentic Asian food. At Chowbus, I lead end-to-end design projects for both B2C (diner app & driver app) and B2B(restaurant solutions) products. Here are some highlights:

▪ Redesigned Chowbus Plus sign up experience by simplifying user flow, repositioning value prop and conducting competitive analysis, lifting 28% in conversion

▪ Improved order status updates experience through ideating new features and conducting usability tests, reducing customer support tickets relevant to order status by 13%

▪ Visited restaurant on a regular basis to collect feedback and conduct concept and usability testing on POS products, conceptualizing & iterating features including menu management, sales reporting, and configuration
